Satori Gregorakis (Long Island, N.Y., 1943-) Satori is committed to beauty, exploring and developing new ideas. In this pursuit he is influenced by the mysteries and challenges of painting in the style of old masters, he regards the preparation of surface as essential and is guided by the spontaneity of his imagination in abstract painting. His work has been described as the tranquility of aloneness and spiritual resolve.
