A fabulous footed planter by Lynn Chase, "Chase" from her African Portraits series.
This planter has a square form with cut form corners giving it an octagonal profile. Each of the walls depicts a majestic bust of an African animal in shaped oval reserves against brown ground. Each corner is decorated with an Art Deco style oval with pointed ends with gilt finished trim with central black diamond surrounded by gilt trim.
Marked underfoot.
