Japanese cloisonné urn on stand, c.1030’s
A good example of a fine quality cloisonné urn with lid. Decorated on all sides having exotic birds, butterflies and colorful flowers, on a ground of glittering bronze color. The lid is topped by a pierced copper finial. The stand, although probably not original to the urn, is of good quality with nice pierced carving. Overall urn and stand are in good condition with no dings or dents. Stand height 2”.
