As a way of letting go of gestural control, the artist began the work by lying on the ground and … Read more As a way of letting go of gestural control, the artist began the work by lying on the ground and using a long pole to paint on the wall. For the second half of the piece he used a medium sized brush whilst standing. Vibrant bright colours are favoured in this palette, reflecting his personal relationship with colour. This is part of the artist’s ongoing practice, where he intuitively paints for a few hours each day, allowing for his mood and perception to influence the work. See less
