Newer professionally applied and layered antique white painted finish with mottled undertones, lightly distressed to fit the age and grace of this handsome chest.Top is painted in a contrasting blue/white faux marble finish, which was a traditional style element of the era.
Canted fluted corner sides topped by lion's head medallion, chest rests on fluted tapered feet.
Key is used as a pull on the top drawer, lower two drawers open with two brass pulls.
Restored, strong and stable. Any nicks, scratches, separations, signs of wear are reflective of generations of use and do not impact function.
