ABOUT
An original LC Smith & Corona Typewriter with a 14 inch carriage. The serial number is 1A1758024-12 stamped in the inside. The keys are nickel with black face and white numbers. All the keys work properly. The carriage slides smoothly from side to side.

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Steel, Metal, Nickel.
CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor blemishes on the body. The ribbon is good. Several key faces are slightly turned. Type is stuck on all caps.

The L.C. Smith & Bros. Typewriter Company was founded in Syracuse, N.Y. on January, 1st, 1903. L.C. Smith & Bros. merged with Corona Typewriter Company in 1925 to become "L.C. Smith Bros. & Corona Typewriters, Inc." headquartered in Syracuse, N.Y.
