In 1752 Pasquale Antonibon, descendant of a family of majolica producers, began to experiment with the production of porcelain and then in 1762 the efforts were crowned with success and the Antonibon factory obtained a privilege from the Republic of Venice for the porcelain factory of Nove di Bassano. Around 1770 the management passed into the hands of Pasquale's son, named Gian Battista Antonibon who lost ownership in 1794. The piece is in good condition and has some archaeological restorations.
