The harp is marked by Berger and patented ( 1950s ) and the original shade is marked "designers lamp" This striking mid-century modern table lamp channels the atomic-age aesthetic popularized in the 1950s and 1960s. Featuring a black teardrop-shaped body, perforated brass cone neck, and tripod base with brass ball feet, its design is reminiscent of lamps by Majestic Lamp Co. and Modeline of California. The original textured fiberglass drum shade with diagonal striations is marked “Designers Lamp. The contrasting materials—matte black, polished brass, and textured shade—exemplify the era’s fusion of space-age innovation and organic form, making it a timeless piece for retro-inspired interiors.
