Large conical stoneware lamp by Sejer Keramik, Denmark made in the 1960s. The large body is glazed with an expressive glazing in dark earth colours and incised with three abstract circular motifs. Signed "Sejer / Unik / Denmark" underneath. Mounted with a white flax linen shade. Sejer Keramik is known for a small production of stoneware objects handmade at Fridtjof Sejersens workshop in the outskirts of Odense, Denmark. All of the production was made by hand and some of the larger items were unique pieces as this lamp indicated by the signature ("unik") underneath. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
