This high quality ceramic art vase was designed by Wilhelm Diebener for the renown Hansa-Gotha-Keramik manufactory in the late 1940s. It is glazed in dark yellow / ochre tones.
Diebener's reduced design language was dedicated to the ideas of the Bauhaus since the 1920s and is also significant for early mid-century design. The piece is signed with the typical fir tree logo and 'GK'. This piece has an attribution mark,
