Antique 18th c. French Empire parcel-gilt tole wall sconce circa 1800. Argand form light which has been electrified and then later has been removed, currently is a candle sconce.
Unusual design and Empire form of caryatid Original glass cup and traces of original tole paints. The measurements are 18.5" tall and 8" deep, 5" wide at the shade. Showing as mounted on display wood panel, NOT INCLUDED. Hallmarked with a Diamond shape with C inside.
