Old clay Chinoiserie ginger jar from a Texas estate of a well-traveled couple. This gorgeous, heavy pot has a blissful scene of a mother and her children at play, in rich saturated colors. It has a wood lacquer top and Chinese writing on the back. I wish I knew what it said. It would look lovely in a bookcase, on a mantel or anywhere you need a touch of Chinoiserie style. In good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
