Hand-carved from solid maple, the chairs feature elegant ladder-back frames with finials. All eight were crafted by the same artisan, with two slightly taller chairs originally intended as host chairs. Structurally restored for stability, the maple wood retains its naturally aged warm patina, now gently enhanced with a freshly applied wax finish. Each chair retains its original handwoven rush seat in a beautifully aged tan tone. They stand on hand-carved legs joined by stretchers and end in classic toupie feet. Solid, stable, and full of character, this set reflects exceptional joinery and craftsmanship, embodying the timeless charm of French Country style.
