… Read more This large antique rococo oak chest of drawers features a serpentine front and beautifully carved skirt resting on cabriolet feet.
It has been given an exceptional newer professional aqua/seafoam blue layered painted finish which has been lightly distressed, bringing out the natural oak below and fitting the age and grace of the dresser.
This chest has been restored, case is sturdy and drawers open with two brass pulls (locks no longer function). Drawer bottoms/sides are constructed in pine, typical of chest made in this era.
All cracks, dings, aged separation (in particular the drawer bottoms) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this striking chest of drawers.
