An iconic piece of … Read more Extremely rare Bau chairs, designed by Isao Hosoe and produced by Bilumen in Italy in 1971. An iconic piece of Italian design. It is one of the first pieces of furniture made of injection-molded plastic, a technology that revolutionized the furniture industry, expanding its production possibilities. This model participated in the “Plastic chairs – Kartell” exhibition in 1976 at the Centro Kappa in Milan and was selected for the “Italian Design 1964-1974” exhibition at the Triennale di Milano. The Bau is a true child of its time, characterized by bright colors and a conceptual basis that explores multifunctionality.
