A very rare original rocking cradle signed Michael Thonet, model no. 2, produced in 1891 by the famous Austrian manufacturer Thonet. An authentic work of craftsmanship in steam-bent beech, an emblem of the Central European Art Nouveau style of the late 19th century. The piece is completely restored, preserving the original structure and equipped with a canopy/curtain arm, a detail also present in the official archive models.

Attributed on the basis of historical documentation (period Thonet catalogues), this cradle represents a perfect balance between elegance, functionality and historicity.
