This set of fifteen (15) hand colored engravings depict views of France after the original drawings of the well listed British artist J.D. Harding (England 1798 - 18630. They were printed and colored in England in 1834.Outstanding composition and hand coloring. Great for a large wall treatment or several smaller groupings. Dimensions: Apprx..5" x 7.5".

James Duffield Harding (England 1798 – 4 December 1863) was a well listed British landscape painter, lithographer and author of drawing manuals. His use of tinted papers and opaque paints in watercolor proved influential. many of his drawings were used to illustrate views of several countries, including the engravings offered in this listing.
