The stepped triangular base support that acts as the foundation between the wire base and marble top has been completely restored with dense Birch plywood replacing the original "particle board" platform that lacked strength and integrity due to the nature of that material and age Approximately 16" tall X 18" diameter top weighing in @ 23 lbs. less
