In a rare color, these French urns of yellow glazed porcelain are a perfect size for use on a mantel or a variety of other decorative placements. Ideal as cachepots, they have glass liners that can support small flower pots or arrangements. Gilt cartouches surround the hand painted floral compositions on the front while gilt details embellish the gadrooned rims, backs and rams’ head terminals to the handles. Marked on the bottoms in blue, ca. 1900-early 20th century. Excellent condition with small artisanal irregularities, as made.
