Japanese antique Tobacco bon (tray) with original brazier and two drawers. The body and lid are made from Keyaki ( Japanese elm wood) with a round cast iron insert for charcoal and a cylindrical bamboo haifuki used for disposing of ashes and used tobacco from a kiseru pipe.
This is a fine piece from the Meiji era (1868-1912) recommended for collectors and enthusiasts of Japanese antiques.
