Swedish Gustavian Giltwood Console Table with Lyre and Marble Top, 1800s.
Exceptional Scandinavian late gustavian console table manufactured in Sweden between 1790 and 1820 by a master carpenter.
White and gilded lyre-shaped column on a ebonized base. White table frame with gilded ribbons supports the original white marble table top.
A hole in the back of the table frame for attachment to the wall, so the weight of the marble is supported.
Original antique condition with wear on the paint and gilded areas.
