An early 19th century French Louis XVI style marble top bibliotheque, or bookcase, made of solid walnut. Brass grillage doors with working lock and key. Short tapered legs. Beautiful Languedoc red veined marble top (added at a later date). Interior has three shelves. Excellent craftsmanship with pegged and dovetailed construction. Pine as a secondary wood. No restoration. Circa 1820-1840. Dimensions: 43.5"W x 12"D x 46.5"H
