Distinguished semi-antique Turkish Oushak rug, meticulously handwoven using traditional wool-on-wool techniques in Western Turkey's esteemed Oushak territory. This 5'4" x 9'1" textile represents the Anatolian plateau's significant contribution as the cradle of oriental rug craftsmanship. The region's villages maintained distinctive aesthetic signatures—each developing characteristic motifs and color palettes that became their hallmark. Frequently documented in European artistic works, these historical pieces continue to captivate interior designers with their striking geometric compositions and nuanced chromatic arrangements.
