William Holland later became the sole proprietor, and the business grew significantly under his leadership. Their association with royalty further cemented their reputation for quality and prestige. Collaborations: Holland & Sons frequently collaborated with leading designers and architects of the time, such as charles barry, and were involved in furnishing significant public buildings, including the new palace of westminster.
