Based on the hairstyle and dress, it would seem that the painting was done in the early 1920s. The artists has beautifully portrayed his/her subject, and the painting is truly enchanting. The photographs really do not do justice to this painting. You can veritably smell the peonies! Although our expertise is more in the field of antique furniture than in art, we have found do imperfections, defects, or faults based on our knowledge. The painting was clearly loved and treasured by its owners. The canvas measures 25 inches wide by 31 inches tall and is 1 inch deep. It is unframed. We can discern no signature. See less
