This crab, signed by Hiromi Fujiwara, is from the Meiji era from 1890-1900. The samurai decline during this era forced the armor craftsmen to shift to these highly intricate figures to demonstrate their craftsmanship. All body segments have hinged joints. This item will be shipped in a gift box.
