Heavy carved ceramic trinket jewelry box vantage from mid 20th century. Rare find. In very good condition, please refer to the images. Measurements: 3” side width x 7” front length x 5” height.
The box is decorated with scenes reminiscent of Byzantine or early medieval art. The lid features two griffins flanking a central figure, while the base depicts scenes of figures in arched frames, representing biblical or historical narrative.
