This delicate and introspective lithograph titled “Portrait of Gala” is a signed limited edition by Salvador Dalí, created in homage to his muse and wife, Gala. Executed in sepia tones with soft shading and intricate line work, the portrait captures Gala in a serene pose, her hands clasped in contemplation. This work reflects Dalí’s admiration for Gala’s spiritual presence and influence throughout his life and career.
Hand-signed by Dalí in pencil in the lower right and numbered 133/500 in the lower left. Embossed with the Dalí signature stamp and publisher’s blindstamp. Printed in 1981 by Rizzoli Graphis Art, authorized by the Museum of the Royal Monastery of El Escorial, Spain. The print retains full margins with deckled edges. This piece was acquired from the estate of a private collector in Los Angeles and showcases Dalí’s signature surrealist style and devotion to his muse, Gala. A rare and compelling work, it offers collectors a striking example of Dalí’s late-period artistry and personal iconography.
