The trompe l'oeil bench is hand-carved from beech with an intentionally distressed painted finish. The seat is upholstered with soft jute fabric bordered by patinated brass tack nail heads. The sides are decorated with swag and tassels and the seat is supported by flared plume feather legs. Sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The bench measures over 4 feet long. Perfect as a window bench, foot of a bed, or under an entry table.

Condition: Good, wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery. Intentionally aged patina on painted finish to mimic age. Age appropriate wear with newer jute upholstery fabric as seen in photos. Minor chips, scuffs, on painted finish as expected. See less
