Semi Antique Persian Melayer Rug, originally hand-crafted in Iran's prestigious Hamadan region and measuring 3'5" x 15'10". This exceptional piece has undergone specialized distressing and refinishing processes in the United States, transforming a traditional textile into contemporary art. The innovative refinishing technique preserves the rug's intricate handwoven structure—created using time-honored methods—while organically neutralizing its original palette. This revolutionary approach reclaims heritage textiles that had fallen from fashion, reimagining them for modern aesthetic sensibilities while honoring their craftsmanship legacy.
