The sculpture is made of Durastone, a mix of crushed stone slurry.
It depicts a robed woman with flowing hair, her head resting on a Pueblo jug.
The jug and robe feature impressed designs, possibly of a lizard and Native American patterns.
The sculpture is signed and dated 1984, and mounted on a 10” base.
Austin Productions, founded in 1952, ceased production in 2009.
Pamela Pierce may also be associated with the Acoma series.
The sculpture's height is approximately 43” not including base.
