Distinguished vintage Oushak rug from Turkey, hand-crafted with traditional wool-on-wool technique in Western Turkey's esteemed Oushak territory. At 3'6" x 4'7", this piece represents the ancestral weaving traditions of the Anatolian plateau—the cradle of oriental rug craftsmanship. The region's villages maintained distinctive aesthetic identities, each developing proprietary designs and color palettes that remained localized. These historical textiles frequently appear in European fine art compositions, their striking geometric patterns and nuanced colorways establishing them as coveted elements among elite interior design circles.
