An early tapestry fragment of an angel with the sun above and a building beneath. The angel is a focal point in the center of the piece and takes up much of the space. The piece has survived in good condition especially considering its age.
The fragment is attached to a linen backing and has been framed with conservation glass and a contemporary frame.
The tapestry is 38” W x 16”H
The frame is 45.5”W x 23.5”H x 1.5” D
