Additional Details: This first edition poster titled "Wrapped Oil Barrels, Texas" is an earlier work by Christo, commissioned by Mobil Oil Corporation for the American Bicentennial. Recognized by the American Revolution Bicentennial Administration, this poster captures Christo's innovative approach to environmental art. The poster is printed on brown paper and, while slightly wavy due to exposure to humidity, the image remains intact and vibrant.
"Wrapped Oil Barrels, Texas" exemplifies Christo's ability to transform industrial materials into thought-provoking works of art.
