These vintage art decorations from Italy have been artfully composed of paper mâché and hand-painted in the depiction of two beaded male figures, with differing poses. The head portion of these busts are done in the round, with full head of hair continuing along to the backside, though primarily you might have these pieces so their backs are to the wall. The figures are raised upon wonderful volute and acanthus leaf motif bases, in a contrasting gold/bronze finish. This pair of Italian artisan busts, standing approximately 1.5 feet in height and over 2.5 feet wide (each), would be great decorative objects - perhaps up high adorning a fireplace mantle or office shelf.
