Sculptural pair of mid century modern andirons designed by Donald Deskey for Bennett, crafted in solid cast iron with polished brass ball tops and brass-capped feet. Produced in the 1950s, these iconic fire tools feature Deskey’s signature fusion of Machine Age minimalism with modernist elegance, making them a striking focal point in both contemporary and traditional interiors.
Stamped "BENNETT" with Deskey’s fish-scale maker’s mark; they are in very good vintage condition with age appropriate wear consistent with normal age and use. They measure 15.25" tall, 7.5" wide and 17.5" deep.
