An antique English tobacco jar or humidor, made in England, dating to the mid 20th century and crafted with a stitched oxblood leather-wrapped body, heavy brass porthole-style locking lid, and glazed ceramic liner. This 5-inch tall jar reflects Edwardian era refinement and would have originally graced a gentleman’s smoking room or writing desk. The industrial brass fittings and warm patina make it a striking accent for a library shelf, bar, or nautical themed interior.
It measures 6" in total height, approx. 3.75" tall not including the lid, and 6.5" in diameter.
Overall the humidor is in good vintage condition, however, there are visible repaired cracks to the ceramic liner, and the piece remains structurally sound and displays beautifully.
