The vase is signed with Lap at the bottom.
Geert Lap (1951-2017) was a Dutch ceramist, known for his minimalist and innovative approach. Lap's work is characterized by an apparent simplicity and perfect craftsmanship. He produced geometric-abstract ceramics with a timeless quality. with each piece he made, Lap tried to get closer to the essence of the cast.
His work is very hard to find. He was such a perfectionist that he produced very little work.
The vase is in very good condition. One tiny tiny chip at the footrim, as visible in the last two pictures. Futhermore perfect. This piece has an attribution mark,
