Offered is a rare matched set of Danish Teak wood tray and bowl designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk in the late 1950s. It includes a large serving tray with the subtle curve upwards on the handles, possibly an homage to the many Quistgaard Viking themed pieces of that era, and a large round shallow serving bowl that rests inside. Both are stamped Denmark.
Bowl measures 14.75" diameter x 2.25" high
Tray measures 21.75" long, 16.5" diameter, 1.125" tall

- Both pieces are in overall good condition with no evident scratches, cracks, chips, or utensil marks (see detailed images). There … moreBoth pieces are in overall good condition with no evident scratches, cracks, chips, or utensil marks (see detailed images). There is a very small nick at the edge of one of the handles, but hard to see in the images. The bowl had minimal scuffs but no utensil marks, and has been buffed out. Both have been cleaned and conditioned with food safe oil. Please care for these pieces with tender loving care by wiping clean with a damp cloth and towel drying them immediately. Beautiful teak wood will last forever if cared for properly. less
