Offering a formal studio portrait of a female nude -- the styling, model, and palette suggesting a 1940s time frame.
Unsigned painting on canvas which is laid down on a board or plank. Minor losses to the surface. The innermost (wood) mat, which is painted, has paint losses (for instance, along the bottom, as is shown in one photo). The outer frame, which appears to be original, has minor disturbances.
Dimensions including the frame: 27 7/8 high by 23 3/4 wide. The visible aspect of the painting: about 21 1/2 high, 17 1/2 wide.
These photographs were made outdoors in full sunlight.
