Vintage mid-century Carlton Ware England figural shell-shaped salt and pepper set. Circa the 1950s or 1960s. This charming three-piece set is in excellent condition. The shakers, which have a pretty spiral shape, are gorgeous neutral colors, with mauve-y, taupe-y, pinky tones and tinges of a rust shade. Each shaker measures 3.75” tall and 1.75” in diameter at widest point. The tray holder is 5.5” long by 3.25" wide by 0.75” high. One shaker has one hole for salt, and the other has seven holes for pepper.
Material: Ceramic.
Makers mark: on bottom of tray says “Carlton Ware England”.
Origin: Made in England.
