The … Read more Here is a fabulous modern/postmodern console table designed by Dakota Jackson in the later 20th c., likely the 1980's. The designer is known for exceptional quality and avant-garde designs. He continues to design pieces through his company, available only to the trade. I acquired this piece from a Hollywood estate. It is solidly built with gorgeous lines and unique drawer details. We decided to give it an upgrade in a bright, custom yellow lacquer. If I were to describe the color I would say that it is definitely a modern, current shade of yellow- more candy, sugar-sweet, less neon/highlighter. It does not have green or blue undertones, which is what we were after. I also love how versatile this piece is! Of course as a console it's divine, but I love it in an entry or hallway or even as a changing table...imagine baskets or plants in the center with lovely stools on each side.... A very special, one-of-a-kind piece!
