Acquired from a private luxe Palm Beach estate in the historic Mizner district, this striking pair of Italian tole floor lamps once flanked a mirrored console in an elegantly appointed oceanview sitting room. Sourced through a Milanese decorator, they were part of a well-traveled collector’s trove of European treasures — a testament to timeless taste and tropical grandeur.
Exquisitely crafted in Italy, the lamps feature Hollywood Regency styling with Neoclassical influence. Each showcases a tole metal body with an ornate palm frond motif, finished in hand-gilded rich antique gold and fitted with an ivory pleated linen shade. A lotus-like flourish crowns the base, rising from a sunburst pedestal and fluted brass column for a dramatic, old-world silhouette.
The finely sculpted botanical details recall the work of Maison Jansen and Hans Kögl, both known for combining classical ornament with naturalistic forms. A glamorous statement for any Regency, eclectic, or maximalist interior.
