Perfect for reading, watching TV, or simply doing nothing at all, this lounge chair is inspired by Børge Mogensen’s 1949 ‘Hunting Chair.’ This handmade replica features traditional joinery and solid hardwood construction alongside modern details like a Danish papercord seat/backrest and wedged through-tenons.
Made with oak harvested locally in Wisconsin, and made by Carter Uslabar Doersch in Milwaukee. Finished with boiled linseed oil for a beautiful, natural, and safe finish.
Note: If you like this chair, but prefer the base in another material like walnut or cherry, or prefer the seat in another material like upholstery fabric or leather, send me a message to arrange a bespoke version of your own!
