Vintage 1960s set of six handmade Amish farm stand signs, found in rural central Pennsylvania. Each one hand-painted in black on white painted wood: PEARS, RHUBARB, RASPBERRIES, STRAWBERRIES, SOUR CHERRIES, and APRICOTS. Double-sided with identical wording on each face. They’re connected with steel hooks and hung from a simple length of chain.
Each plank is painted in a unique, slightly naive hand, with irregular line-work and natural wear from age and use. Weathered surfaces, patina, and scuffs throughout -- evidence of their actual service at a roadside stand.

• Total hanging length: 36" (with chain), 28" (without chain)
