Handmade late 1700s or early 1800s antique sundial, signed D.G. Thomas in the bottom corner. Cast entirely in bronze with engraved Roman numerals and sharply incised hour lines. The gnomon is fixed at approximately a 50-degree angle, indicating it was calibrated for use at a northern latitude near 50°, consistent with locations in southern England or northern Europe.
No visible foundry marks.
