Offered is a papier mâché candle holder created and signed by Abelardo Ruiz and made in Mexico, circa. the 1970s. Known for the endearing "Big Eyes", the precise application of painted make-up, and the elaborate and embellished costumes, this one is wearing patterned long cape in yellow, orange, and black and is signed on the bottom: "Papier Mache de Abelardo Ruiz - MEXICO".
