A fine walnut Mid-Century Victorian period tufted leather chesterfield sofa.
English, circa 1960
A well-drawn 88" long walnut chesterfield sofa, having good deep proportions, upholstered in a deep buttoned tan leather, standing on the original walnut turned legs to the front and back.
The shaped breakfront edge and out-scrolling arms are upholstered in a fine quality deep buttoned hand-dyed leather hide.
The back and seat are sprung, giving support and comfort when seated. It is always a sign of quality to have front and back matching rear legs of turned walnut, retaining their original shape.
