Originally designed as promotional display pieces for a French pharmacy, each vessel advertises the innovative “Filtre Pasteurisateur Mallié Porcelaine Damiante,” a 19th-century system for providing pure, filtered water to protect families from illness. Featuring a pale yellow glazed finish with molded relief text, each filter includes its original pewter spout and fitted ceramic lid. Versatile in function, they can also be repurposed as kitchen utensil holders, or lined to display fresh flowers or dried arrangements.
