The thick, wide frame is rounded on the corners in the style of Louis Philippe, meticulously carved with exotic blooms of fantastic or stylized flowers that appear blushing from red bole behind the gilded sheen for a sense of naturalism that is quite flattering to the reflection. Foxing of the mirror plate is consistent with age and only increases the charm of this special piece. Strung with wire for hanging vertically although the rectangular frame is symmetrical to be reoriented as needed. Please view the detailed images to see more. See less
